Study on magnetic thermal seeds coated with thermal-responsive molecularly imprinted polymers

We conceived a novel hybrid carrier of thermal-responsive molecularly imprinted polymer (MIP) and magnetic thermal seed (MTS) that showed heat-generating ability under an alternate current (AC) field. Compared to our previous publications, we modify both the MIP MTS improve feasibility for carrier, briefly have achieve accurate size control narrower distribution MTS, higher molecular recognition/release MIP. Firstly, uniformly sized particles which are expected show large AC field were successfully prepared by controlling core creation. Then, targeted selective adsorption pemetrexed (PMX), well-known anti-cancer drug, was using N-carbobenzoxy-l-glutamic acid as pseudo template. Finally, preliminary hybridization MIP-equivalent coating examined introducing vinyl groups methacrylic ligand exchanging method.
